SEWER PIPELINE

SEWER PIPELINE

Trenchless Rehabilition
The 2-day course looks at the full range of current rehabilitation methods and associated technologies, and examines the importance of condition inspection, to inform accurate risk assessment. It also looks at the decision-making process and selection of appropriate trenchless solutions for effective rehabilitation

SEWER PIPELINE

Condition assessment & coding
This 3-day course follows EN standard 13508-2:2003+A1 on inspection of sewer pipelines, and leads to certification in classification and coding of sewer pipe conditions in accordance with the WRc MSCC (5th ed.) manual. The course gives a solid introduction into the principles of accurate assessment and reporting, and its importance in the reporting and assessment process

CURED-IN-PLACE PIPE (CIPP)

CURED-IN-PLACE PIPE (CIPP)

Design & current practic
This 1-day course focuses on the current Calculation and Design considerations for effective implementation of pipeline rehabilitation using CIPP methods. The course will outline the modification of the Timoshenko buckling formula to facilitate design of CIPP liners to resist hydrostatic buckling and its adoption by WRc as the Sewer Rehabilitation Manual standard method for circular pipe

PUMPED SEWERS

PUMPED SEWERS

Assets management
This 1-day course in Sewer Pumping Mains Assets Management, also know as rising or force mains, is the first in a series of courses covering key aspects of sewer pumping mains management and maintenance. The course will examine key aspects of an assets management framework, the planning process, rising mains inspection and assessment, and consequent effective decision-making in light of pipeline failures, failure consequences and mitigation modelling. A key outcome is to assist with optimizing burst reduction strategies

PUMPED SEWERS

Failures, inspection & decisions
This 1-day course for Pumped Sewers Management, also known as rising or force mains, is the second in a series of courses covering key aspects of sewer pumping mains management and maintenance. The course focuses on key aspects of understanding failures, what to look for in the inspection process, and options and actions to reduce possible failures in the future

WATER MAINS

WATER MAINS

Inspection, assessments & decision-making
This 1-day course examines the range of inspection and leak detection methods for different pipe materials and the process of data collection and analysis and how this supports accurate condition assessment. The course concludes with a consideration of effective risk assessment and asset management options such as rehabilitation and replacement

WATER MAINS

Condition assessment & coding
This 1-day course examines different rehabilitation methods and technologies, their applications, capabilities and limitations, relevant design considerations including drinking water safety, and specifications taking into account risk management and performance
